Do you need money to get fit?
No. And anyone who tells you otherwise is unimaginative and probably rich in excuses.
The truth is, fitness doesn't have to involve a gym, nor does it require expensive supplementation or diet.
In fact, getting fit will probably save you money if anything!
Getting fit requires a healthy combination of three things:
🔹An active lifestyle - this can be obtained by simply doing hundreds, if not thousands of things that require little to absolutely no money. Some of which include walking, jogging, hiking, dancing, home yoga, swimming (public pools are usually free if not very cheap), or home workouts .
🔹A healthy diet – this is not referring to a fad, water-based starvation diet; I’m merely talking about a healthy-eating lifestyle built up of fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, beans, pulses, and lean meats that will cost you far less than processed, unnecessarily over packaged ‘food’. There are plenty of free recipes online (ever heard of Google?); learning to cook and prepare food has never been easier. You’ll save money, and you’ll know exactly what you’re putting into your body.
🔹Sleep – costs you nothing, but the benefits are priceless. Aim for between 7– 8 hours a night for optimal recovery.
Of course, as a professional online fitness coach my business relies on clients who would like to reach specific goals with their personal fitness. But if your goal is to simply be fitter, healthier, and more awesome than you already are, then get a move on because the time is now and your future self will benefit greatly both in health and wealth.
